The approximately 1,200 couriers of the food delivery service Smood will receive better working conditions, the Syndicom union announced. Syndicom and Smood negotiated a collective agreement, which stipulates a minimum wage of CHF 23 (€22,31) per hour and a 5% surcharge for Sunday work. Furthermore, the couriers must not be called out for less than two hours. They are guaranteed at least four hours of work per week. Co-determination rights are also provided for.
