Trade union Kommunal goes on strike after the employers’ organization Church of Sweden rejected the mediators’ bid. According to Kommunal, the Church of Sweden now wants to worsen the pay and working conditions for Kommunal’s members. The Church of Sweden terminated the collective agreement with Kommunal and then declined the mediators’ bid which was accepted by Kommunal in order to resolve the conflict.
