Spain - New law for equality at work and to combat discrimination - August 31, 2022

Approved by the parliament on 12 July 2022, Law 15/2022, the Integral Law for Equal Treatment and Non­Discrimination places new obligations on employers, requiring them to review their employment selection and access mechanisms, their working conditions, professional promotion and modes of remuneration, so as to ensure equality and non-discrimination among employees, to protect any potential victims, and to compensate for any damages suffered.
