Slovenia - Real earnings drop 7% - August 31, 2022

Compared to earnings for the first half of 2021, average monthly earnings for the first half of 2022 were in nominal terms about the same (gross earnings were lower by 0.2% and net earnings were higher by 0.8%), while in real terms they were lower (gross earnings by 7.0% and net earnings by 6.1%). Compared to earnings for May, average gross earnings for June were higher in nominal terms by 0.9% and lower in real terms by 1.8%. They were the highest in financial and insurance activities. Average gross earnings for June 2022 amounted to €2,007.64. Average net earnings amounted to €1,307.61. Compared to earnings for the previous month, they were higher in nominal terms by 0.8% and lower in real terms by 1.9%.
