Portugal - Union asks for better pay and conditions - April 30, 2022

Trade union STAL is planning a series of actions to highlight its key demands on improvements to pay and conditions. According to the union, local and regional government workers have seen their wages frozen and their purchasing power radically reduced due to inflation. STAL is calling for a €90 increase for all workers and increase in the national minimum wage to €850. It also has a range of other key demands covering the pay structure, precarious work, career development.
