Netherlands - Union members gather for a fair solution to the “income crisis” - November 30, 2022

About 4,000 members of trade union FNV gathered in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam to protest against "the income crisis" and for a "just society and fair solutions" to the financial problems of workers. The FNV chairman closed the event with the union's commitment for the coming year. He spoke of a dichotomy in society that is only getting bigger due to inflation and wages that are lagging behind. The FNV chairman complained that top executives are receiving bonuses and pay raises in addition to their already "extremely generous remuneration".
