Netherlands - New collective agreement for university staff - May 31, 2022

The unions and the employers of the universities reached a new collective agreement that will give more university teachers the prospect of a permanent job in the coming years. The agreement also includes a one- off payment of € 750 for employees whose hourly wage is € 14, for other employees it will be € 400. More than 57,000 people work at universities. The collective agreement has a term of one year and will take effect on 1 April 2022.
