Trade unions and the employers’ association of water companies have reached a new collective agreement. The more than 5,000 employees of drinking water companies will receive a wage increase between 6.25% and a maximum of 11.44%. In addition, employers will pay a one-off payment of € 1,000 gross, and the minimum wage will increase to € 14 per hour. The agreement will run from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
