Latvia - Union wants to cancel rules preventing work without COVID-19 certificate - February 28, 2022

The trade union confederation LBAS invites the government and the parliament to lift restrictions that prevent employees from doing their job without a valid COVID-19 certificate. The trade union explained its position by pointing to the Ministry of Economy’s report on the vaccination coverage among working people for January, which indicates that 96% of employed people have undergone vaccination. This is why LBAS believes the time has come to put an end to excessive regulation in the context of COVID-19 restrictions.
