Ireland - Joint union campaign for better pay in community and health services - May 31, 2022

Trade unions in health organised a joint national demonstration to highlight the need for better pay and proper respect for workers in the non-profit community and health services. More than 400 protesters attended the rally. The unions are launching a national campaign calling for urgent action to tackle these long-standing issues and to respond to the staff shortages and high turnover in the sector.
