Ireland - Gender pay gap calculation guidance published - May 31, 2022

The government is in the process of providing more details over legislation introduced in 2021 that progressively requires large business organisations to publish their gender pay gaps. On 10 May the government published a guidance note showing employers how to calculate their gender pay gap metrics. The new requirements will initially apply to organisations with at least 250 employees, and will be extended to cover all companies with 50 or more employees by 2025.
