Greece - Pensions to increase in 2023 - May 31, 2022

The pension is set to increase in 2023 for the first time in 12 years’ time, according to the Deputy Labour and Social Affairs Minister. He announced a reform of the architecture of the public social security system with the introduction of capital supplementary insurance. This aims to reduce the exposure of the social security system to the demographic aging of the population, and to increase savings.
