Greece - Only one in five can work from home - January 31, 2022

According to an analysis by the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), only 18.8% of employees have been able to work from home during the pandemic. For 10 out of the 20 professions with the highest employment rate there is the option for working remotely, which is related to the particularly low level of digital transformation in companies. The health restrictions forced enterprises to adopt teleworking solutions, SEV notes. According to Eurostat, in 2020, the work-from-home rate was just 7% compared to the European Union average of 12%.
