Germany - Union demands more purchasing power for chemical and pharmaceutical workers - February 28, 2022

In its demand for the 2022 collective bargaining round, the Federal Collective Bargaining Commission of the trade union IGBCE decided that the purchasing power of the 580,000 employees in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry must be sustainably increased by raising salaries and training allowances. In addition, IGBCE is calling for an increase in shift premiums for employees working night shifts to a uniform 25%.
