Germany - Collective agreement in telecom industry - May 31, 2022

In the third round of collective bargaining for the approximately 55,000 employees, trainees and apprentices at telecom company Deutsche Telekom, the trade union ver.di and the employers concluded an agreement which includes significant pay increases, higher remuneration for trainees and apprentices, an increase in the training quota and an extension of the exclusion of redundancies for operational reasons. The collective bargaining result is subject to the approval of the ver.di collective bargaining committee. The ver.di negotiating committee unanimously recommended acceptance of the wage agreement.
