France - Unions call for national rail strike - June 30, 2022

The unions Sud Rail, CGT and CFDT issued a joint call for a national railway worker strike on July 6 demanding wage increases amid rising inflation. Railway workers are joining a growing number of employees in sectors ranging from oil to airports, air transport and trucking who have called for pay rises to offset the rising cost of living and strikes to back their demands.
