Cyprus - Bus employees end strike and reach agreement - March 31, 2022

Bus employees returned to work, after they temporarily called off their indefinite strike which started a week before. The decision to suspend the strike was announced after a meeting with members of the unions Sek and Peo. This decision opens the way for a dialogue with the ministers of transport and labour to resolve the problems faced by the workers. Nicosia bus employees reached an agreement with their employers after mediation by the Labour Minister and Transport Minister.
