According to the Employment Agency, the unemployment rate at the end of 2021 was 4.8%. The jobless rate registered in December was unchanged in monthly terms, while on an annual basis it was 1.9 percentage points lower. A total of 14,167 unemployed people found a job with the help of labour offices in December, while 21,505 people registered as unemployed. There were 7,967 job vacancies registered with labour offices in December, 2,142 less on a monthly comparison and 395 more year-on-year.
