Austria - New collective agreement in meat industry - June 30, 2022

Trade union PRO-GE reached an agreement for workers in the meat processing industries on 28 June 2022 ensuring an average wage increase of 5.72%. Collective agreed minimum wages will increase by up to 8.61% to €1,712. Moreover, apprentices’ incomes, seniority bonuses and allowances will be increased by 5.0 per cent. The agreement took effect on 01 July 2022 and will run for 12 months.
