Spain - Wages for home help workers increase by 18% - April 30, 2021

In a move that was welcomed by those working in the care industry, Malaga Provincial Council approved on 21 April a pay increase of 18% per hour for home help staff who support people in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants. The new hourly wage will be increased by €2.25 to €14.60 - the first change since 2007.
