Serbia - Wages increase by 8.7% - December 31, 2021

Gross salaries and wages in the period January-October 2021 increased by 8.7% in nominal terms and 5.1% in real terms relative to the same period in the previous year. Simultaneously, net salaries and wages increased by 8.9% in nominal terms and by 5.3% in real terms. Compared with the same month in 2020, average gross salaries and wages for October 2021 increased by 9.7% in nominal terms and by 2.9% in real terms, while average net salaries and wages increased by 9.9% in nominal terms and by 3.1% in real terms.
