Higher education and science workers across the country came out in protest, with the support of the union OPZZ. They demanded a systemic increase in expenditure for higher education and science, an increase in salaries for all employees in these sectors, and an increase in the minimum basic salary for a professor, which is the basis for calculating the remuneration of other academic teachers.
