Netherlands - Unions pledge annulment of collective agreement for agency workers - May 31, 2021

The trade unions FNV, CNV Vakmensen and De Unie want an annulment of the collective agreement between the small union LBV and the employers’ associations in the temporary work agency sector, ABU and NBBU. The agreement came about after the three other trade unions withdrew from negotiations for a new collective agreement for the temporary work sector. The current collective agreement expires on 1 June 2021. The unions resent the fact that an agreement was reached with what they call a ‘yellow union’, within 24 hours after the breakdown of the negotiations.
