According to the employment minister, short-time work support given to employees of firms hard-hit by Covid-19 will be extended beyond June 2020. However, these aids will be available to fewer sectors. The government announced that the unemployment rate dropped to 6.1% in March, after having remained steady at 6.3% for six months.
