Luxembourg - Lowest gender pay gap - June 30, 2021

A joint study undertaken by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Statec) and the European Statistical Office (Eurostat) concluded that Luxembourg has the lowest wage gap between men and women in Europe. The so-called gender pay gap is estimated to be 1.4% when calculated according to average hourly pay rates. In comparison, the average gap across Europe is ten times as high (14.1%).
