The Covid-19 scheme for part-time working has been extended until February 2022, including for the sectors whose activities remain directly impacted by the health measures. The Ministry of State had stressed that the compensation for partial unemployment will remain fixed at 80% of the normal gross hourly wage.
Following the tripartite meeting of 13 December 2021, the Economic Committee accepted any extension of the plans for maintaining employment in vulnerable sectors on the basis of a simple amendment until the end of February 2022.
