Latvia - Parliament approves wage increase for public media council members - May 31, 2021

Parliament approved the plan to increase the wage of members of the Public Electronic Mass Media Council (SEPLP) to €3,000 and for the chairman to €3,200 after taxes. Considering the parliament’s commitment to increasing wages for SEPLP members, the wages paid to members of the National Electronic Mass Media Council (NEPLP) will be made equal to those in SEPLP.
