Iceland - Government to fund summer jobs for students - April 30, 2021

This year, the government will spend 2.4 billion ISK (€16 million) on creating temporary summer jobs for 2,500 students aged 18 years and older, within government institutions, municipalities, and associations. Workplaces hiring students will receive funding for a full-time salary, including 11.5% for retirement funds, for a duration of two and a half months.
