Germany - Total pay rise of 15% in hospitality industry in Hessen - December 31, 2021

The food workers’ union NGG and the hotel and catering association DEHOGA Hessen have agreed on a collective agreement for the hotel and catering industry in the region Hessen after almost a year of corona- induced deadlock and three rounds of negotiations. The collectively agreed wages will initially increase by 8.5% on 1 March 2022. On 1 January 2023, wages will be raised by a further 6.5%.
