Germany - Collective agreement in rubber industry - April 30, 2021

Trade union IG BCE and employers agreed in the second round of negotiations on a collective agreement in the rubber industry. The 25,000 employees in the industry have received a ‘corona bonus’, a permanent annual payment and a wage increase, and IG-BCE members will receive an exclusive short-time allowance. With this collective agreement, this benefit will be doubled. The collective agreement runs for 26 months until May 31, 2023.
