Czechia - Real wages increase by 1.5% - December 31, 2021

Wages rose in the third quarter of 2021, but in many areas they only just kept pace with inflation or even fell behind slightly. The average gross monthly wage for a full-time employee in the third quarter of 2021 was CZK 37,499 (EUR 1,508), up 5.7% compared to the same time period of the previous year. At the same time, according to the Statistical Office, consumer prices increased by 4.1%, meaning that the average wage increased by 1.5% in real terms.
