Cyprus - Cooperation between trade unions - December 31, 2021

Around 100 Turkish Cypriots were interviewed for jobs in the south of the island under a recent deal between trade unions on both sides to help ease labour shortages, especially in the hospitality sector. The agreement was reached between two trade unions: SEK in the south and Turk-Sen in the north. Under the agreement, all applications from jobseekers sent to Turk-Sen will be forwarded to SEK.
