Croatia - One in ten workers are poor - June 30, 2021

Around 132,000 workers are considered to be poor, because they received a salary of less than 3,800 kuna per month (€ 507). More than 60 percent, or 792,000 people, earn less than the average net salary of 7,082 kuna (€946). 660,000 employees receive less than 5,956 kuna (€795), which is the median salary. The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) published data on the structure of employees by salary for March last year.
