At the end of 2020 the registered unemployment rate was 6.7%, 0.8 percentage points higher than at the end of 2019, the country’s employment agency announced. The unemployment rate at the end of December 2020 remained unchanged compared to the end of November. A total of 12,253 unemployed people found a job in December, while 32,607 unemployed people registered with labour offices in the country.
