The average annual household income per capita increased by 6.2% year-on-year in 2020, according to the National Statistical Institute (NSI). Wages and salaries accounted for 56.1% of total household income last year, down by 0.5 percentage points on an annual comparison basis, followed by pensions and selfemployment income with 28.8% and 6.2%, respectively.
