Belgium - Strike at petrol stations - May 31, 2021

A strike movement led to the temporary closure of a series of Texaco petrol stations. The discontent, which had been brewing for months, was directed at EG Shared Services which operates the Texaco service stations in Belgium. The workers denounced in particular a lack of consideration from the management, the increasingly difficult working conditions, and a lack of security. The action was supported by the trade unions.
