Austria - Social partners agree on notice periods for staffing services - June 30, 2021

The social partners have jointly brought about an industry-specific solution for staffing services and their temporary workers. This means that the labour market and the economy can continue to be offered a flexible solution with regard to employment. This solution includes different levels: on the one hand, appropriate notice periods for employees with short-term employment relationships, on the other hand equal notice periods for alle employees who are in long-term employment. Specifically, the notice period is two weeks at the start and increases to three weeks from 2023.
