Lithuania - Teachers’ warning strike - November 30, 2019

Around 400 schools across Lithuania suspended classes as teachers staged a two-hour warning strike to press their demands for more funding next year. The strike action was backed by all trade unions that signed a collective agreement in 2017 to allocate €117 million in additional funding for education in the 2020 government budget.
