Spain -Protests against plans to force unemployed to work for free -March 13, 2012

The FSP-UGT public service federation has criticised the announced government reforms to make unemployed workers perform voluntary work in exchange for benefits. The unions are very concerned that the cut backs in public expenditure will combine the replacement of civil servants and social professionals by volunteers.
