Austria -Wage agreement for the Red Cross -March 23, 2012

In a fourth round of negotiations the trade unions vida and GPA-djp reached an agreement with the Red Cross in Vienna (ÖRK). The agreed wage increase (with retrospective effect from 1 February 2012) is 3.3%. For all Austrian Red Cross workers (6,000 workers) an improvement of the parental and sickness leave (retrospective as from 1 January 2012) has been concluded.
