Vietnam increased its minimum wage by an average of 5.7 percent in 2020. The government issued Decree no 90/2019/ND/CP which took effect from January 1, 2020.
Region wise minimum wage from January 1, 2020 will be as follows:
Region I - 4,420,000.00, Region II - 3,920,000.00, Region III - 3,430,000.00 and Region IV - 3,070,000.00
