Minimum Wage Updated in South Africa from 01 March 2026 - March 08, 2026
The minimum wages have been revised in South Africa with effect from 01 March 2026. The national minimum wage is increased from ZAR28.79 to ZAR30,23 per hour. In addition to the general minimum wage, the minimum wages for contract cleaners, private-sector workers, and those in the wholesale and retail sectors, as well as those on learnership allowances, have also been revised.
