Minimum Wage Increased in Japan from 01 October 2025 - October 03, 2025

The minimum wages have been revised in Japan from 01 October 2025. The minimum wage in Tokyo increases from ¥1,163.00 to ¥1,226.00 per hour, effective 3 October 2025. The effective dates are different for different prefectures, starting from 1 October 2025 to 1 January 2026. Minimum wages are revised for other regions as well.
