The Minimum Wage Panel of the Fair Work commission has announced increase in national minimum wage of Australia. The new rates are effective from July 1, 2015 till June 30, 2016. The national minimum wage for award/agreement free employees will increase to $656.90 per week ($17.29 per hour); and modern award minimum wages will increase by 2.5%.
