Slovenia - Unions oppose intervention law - April 30, 2026
In relation to the so-called intervention law for the development of the country, which was submitted by members of three parliamentary parties, the representative trade union centers, members of the Economic and Social Council (ESS), note that its title is misleading. The trade union centers strongly oppose the proposed intervention law, as they believe that it interferes with the welfare state and benefits only capital. In the event of unilateral adoption of legislation without dialogue, the leadership of the trade unions announces a strike.
