Luxembourg - Minimum wage to rise 3.8% - March 31, 2026

Minimum wage earners will see their pay rise by 3.8% from 1 January 2027, with additional indexation measures set to increase monthly incomes by around € 170. Following a cabinet meeting, the Labour Minister and Economy Minister presented the decision at a press conference. It came amid divisions between the Government and social partners over how to implement an EU directive on minimum wages. Trade unions had labelled their latest minimum wage talks with Government ministers a "failure", accusing the authorities of manipulating the median income calculation to limit any increase to just 0.6%.
