Luxembourg - Collective agreement signed for state employees - March 31, 2026

The Minister for the Civil Service, the OGBL union General Secretary, and LCGB Trade Union Secretary, signed a new collective agreement for state employees. After two years of intensive negotiations and a complete revision of the text, the unions’ determination has paid off. The newly negotiated agreement will enter into force on 1 May 2026 and will remain valid for three years. It will apply to around 2,500 state employees.
