Lithuania - Tripartite Council discusses new minimum wage formula - March 31, 2026
The Tripartite Council (Trišalė taryba) began discussions on a revised methodology for calculating the minimum monthly wage, according to the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK). Trade unions emphasised that the formula should ensure predictable and transparent wage growth linked to economic indicators, including average earnings and productivity. Employers expressed caution about automatic increases, citing competitiveness concerns. The outcome of these discussions is expected to influence minimum wage adjustments for 2027 and beyond.
