Italy - New agreement for writing articles sector - March 31, 2026

On 23 March, representatives of the National Association of Manufacturers of Writing and Related Articles (Assoscrittura) and the National Association of Manufacturers of Brushes, Paintbrushes, Brooms, and Related Raw Materials (Assospazzole), both members of Confindustria, signed a draft agreement with Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl, and Uiltec Uil for the renewal of the national collective agreement for the pen, brush, and paintbrush sector for the three-year period 2026-2028. The overall expected pay increase is € 193, with an increase in the contribution to the supplementary healthcare fund from € 15 to € 18. Regulatory provisions include expansions of the worker information and consultation system, internal mobility initiatives, and the introduction of new technologies within the company.
