Iceland - Wage increases for civil servants - March 31, 2026

On 1 April, the wages of Efling union members working for the City of Reykjavík, the state, the Association of Icelandic Local Authorities and nursing homes (SFV) will increase according to collective agreements. The wage increase will be paid out on 1 May. Fixed monthly wages for daytime work shall increase by 3.5%, but never less than 23,750 ISK (€ 164), unless otherwise determined by the wage tables included in the collective agreement.
